You will get the chance to coordinate with state biologist's, veterinarians, and Fish and Game in the safe transportation and release of claves.

As an intern I learned to respect wildlife and mother nature. I also learned meaningful biology, environmental, and conservational principles that have helped me to this day in my career. 

With the unique nature of the internship itself, taking place in such a remote and vast wilderness area of Alaska, you need to be a jack of all trades and they say. The internship itself required a lot of physical and hands-on work which equipped me with a great sense of independence and pride.

Set aside all the basic formalities' of what any other interahip experience entails or can teach you Moose mamas hands down is the best. Moose mamas makes you become a stronger version of yourself that you never new existed.

You really take on the role of a caregiver, it's a powerful connection to care for a wild animal and a rewarding one at that! You feel such a sense of renewal and pride being a part of nature and you gain such an appreciation for life itself. It's an experience that will stick with me forever.
